true or false?

"He who knows much about others may be learned, but he who understands himself is more intelligent. He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still."

  2. i really searched for it. some sources say the author is unknown. others credit it to lao tse. others say tao te ching. and since i don't know whether both lao tse and tao te ching refer to the sage lao tzu, i decided not to write the author's name and presented it as a quote still.
