#1. i was able to watch a good number of movies: rurouni kenshin, skyfall, les miserables, life of pi, zero dark thirty, pitch perfect, the impossible, battle royale, silver linings playbook
#2. i got myself a new toy -- a raspberry pi! :)
the great thing is, the raspberry pi (RPi) is a very versatile toy -- a mini-computer which the RPi charity wants to see "being used by kids all over the world to learn programming." to know more about this, read about the beginning of the RPi story here.
having my own RPi is a great motivation for me to re-study programming.
i'm excited to find out and try for myself the things that i can make it
do and those that i can do with it.
#3. i took time to appreciate more the things that i get to pass by almost everyday and the sights that i am used to seeing during my walks. talk about seeing things in better light! ,'-)
#4. time to chill. or shiver, literally. it's the time of the year when the daytime temperature outdoors can go down to 23 degrees Celsius even when the sun is up. it's colder during nighttime and it gets even colder at dawn. brrr...
#5. i saw rainbows and sunsets. i also got inspired through a lot of random things that remind me of them.
#6. i did not allow this month to pass me by without responding to the call of adventure and rediscovering places. i thought of where i could possibly escape to and i gave in to the need of being somewhere.
next month will be more exciting. for now, these are the only things that i am willing to share with the blogosphere. i want to keep the rest to myself -- and to a few personal contacts, too! -- for the meantime.
anyway, here's to a great year for all of us!
